Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of CheatGear and this site. Please read them carefully — using the toolkit responsibly is your responsibility.

Last updated: June 23, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

CheatGear is a Rust-built toolkit for memory editing, reverse engineering, and AI-driven automation, intended for legitimate research, education, and single-player or otherwise authorized use. By downloading, installing, or using CheatGear, or by creating an account on this site, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use CheatGear or this site.

2. Acceptable use

CheatGear is a general-purpose tool for inspecting and modifying process memory and for studying how game engines lay out their internals. You may use it only for purposes you are legally entitled to pursue.

You agree NOT to use CheatGear for any of the following:

  • Cheating, botting, or gaining an unfair advantage in competitive, multiplayer, or online games.
  • Circumventing anti-cheat systems or attacking the integrity of any online service.
  • Any activity that violates the terms of service of the software you attach to.
  • Any activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction or that infringes the rights of others.

3. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use CheatGear and for ensuring that your use complies with the terms of service of any software you interact with and with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. Determining whether a given use is permitted is your responsibility, not ours.

CheatGear does not provide, and is not intended to provide, anti-cheat bypass features.

4. License and ownership

CheatGear is proprietary, closed-source commercial software. CheatGear, including its software, branding, and content on this site, is owned by its authors. Subject to these terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to download and use CheatGear for permitted purposes.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, decompile, or reverse engineer CheatGear, nor remove or obscure any licensing or attribution notices. CheatGear may incorporate third-party components distributed under their own licenses; those components remain governed solely by their respective license terms, which do not extend to CheatGear itself.

5. Plans, payment, and subscriptions

Some features of CheatGear may require a paid plan. Plans, pricing, and what each plan includes are described on the pricing page. By purchasing a plan you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the applicable fees.

Payments are handled by third-party payment processors, including Polar and supported cryptocurrency rails. We do not store full payment-card details. Subscription terms, renewal, and any refund eligibility are described at the point of purchase on the pricing page.

6. Disclaimer of warranty

CheatGear is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Memory editing and reverse engineering are inherently low-level operations; we do not warrant that CheatGear will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will not affect the stability of any process you attach to.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors of CheatGear are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of CheatGear — including data loss, process crashes, account bans, or other consequences of how you choose to use the tool.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to paid features or to this site if you breach these terms or use CheatGear for prohibited purposes. You may stop using CheatGear at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including licensing, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date below. Continued use of CheatGear after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
