What CheatGear collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Your local memory-editing work stays on your machine.

Last updated: June 23, 2026

1. Overview

This policy explains what data CheatGear collects through this site and account system, how we use it, and who we share it with. CheatGear is a toolkit for memory editing, reverse engineering, and AI-driven automation; this policy covers the website and account services, not the data you inspect locally on your own machine.

Memory inspection and reverse-engineering activity you perform with the CheatGear application happens locally on your device. We do not collect the contents of the processes you attach to.

2. What we collect

We collect only what is needed to run accounts, payments, and the site:

  • Account email — used to create and identify your account and to send essential account email.
  • Authentication tokens and session data — used to keep you signed in and to authorize the application.
  • Wallet address — collected only if you connect a wallet to pay with cryptocurrency.
  • Payment data — processed by our payment processor; we receive transaction and subscription status, not full card details.
  • Basic analytics — aggregate usage data to understand traffic and improve the site.

3. How we use your data

We use the data above to operate your account, authenticate the application, process payments and manage subscriptions, provide support, send essential account communication, and keep the site secure and functional. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third parties

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to deliver the service. Each receives only the data needed for its function:

  • GitHub — release hosting and optional sign-in.
  • Discord — community support and contact.
  • Polar — subscription and payment processing for paid plans.
  • Cryptocurrency payment processors — settlement when you pay with a connected wallet.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional and account email.

5. Data retention

We retain account and payment records for as long as your account is active and for as long afterward as needed to meet legal, accounting, and security obligations. Session tokens expire and are rotated. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

6. Your rights

You can request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to records we are required to keep. To exercise these rights, contact us through the channels below.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport and limiting access to the data each provider needs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date below. Material changes will be reflected here.
